3D Full Second Split
The facility charges a $5 environmental fee for each horse at the facility. All horses staying over night must have a stall, there is no self penning. Stalls must be cleaned before you leave. The facility does not allow straw to be used in the stalls.

Youth 3D Full Second Split - 16 years and under as of January 1, 2024
1. No refunds. You may sell your jackpot spot until midnight July 25, 2024. Please email changes to rtpbarrelrace@outook.com with the original entry name and the new entry name, address, and horse, division.
2. Western dress code will be required, jeans, boots, long sleeved shirt, and cowboy hat or helmet.
3. A horse may not compete against itself in the same division.
4. Contestants will be provided with adequate time to enter the arena. However, if you are not in the arena and you are called 3 times you forfeit your run and entry, no refunds. The call will be made by the arena director and will be final.
5. There will be 5 horses in the waiting area at once. If you are not in the waiting area when the gates are closed for that group to start you will not be let in and will forfeit your run, no refunds will be granted.
6. Rakes will be after every 5 contestants on the draw. Turnouts will not alter the rake schedule.
7. If the horse falls, no re-run will be granted. Every effort will be made to provide safe and even ground for all contestants.
8. The event will be timed by electric eye to the thousandth of a second. In the event of timer failure, the contestant will be given a re-run at the end of the order and will be given a normal rake prior to the re-run, no prior penalty will apply.
9. In the event a barrel is not placed properly on its markers a re-run shall be granted. No prior penalty will apply to the re-run. This incorrect placement must be confirmed by the arena director.
10. Any knocked down barrel will result in five (5) second penalty. Contestants may touch the barrel. If the length side of a barrel touches the ground (60% or more of the length) and bounces back to an upright position, it is considered knocked down.
11. If a barrel is rubbed or moved off the maker, it will be readjusted prior to the next run.
12. Contestants can request a barrel to be reset before their run.
13. A broken pattern will result in a no time. This is defined as backward movement from the horse after crossing the electric eye, any crossing (or re-tracking) of the standard cloverleaf pattern, refusal to move forward or stopping. Incomplete pattern, crossing the electric eye at any time prior to the completion of the pattern, or if the horse falls in such a manner that pattern is broken.
14. Contestants, who receive a no time, may complete the pattern. However, the announcer may ask contestant to leave if schooling or excessive time is used.
15. If the announcer announces the draw incorrectly and a contestant runs out of draw order the run will be counted. If a contestant runs out of order (notwithstanding any announcement) the run will be disqualified (for completing a run out of draw order). Sole responsibility of the contestant to know their order.
